Boost is automatically activated, but the start time depends on how it was obtained:
- In-Game Purchase: Your Boost will activate as soon as your purchase of Boost, using Iron, is completed.
- Redeem Code/Promotional Boost: Your Boost will activate the next time you open the game.
- Ultimate Edition/Road to Gears 5/Terminator: Dark Fate Boost: Any Boost awarded from these methods will be active from the first time you load the game. If you upgrade to the Gears 5: Ultimate Edition or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at a later date, the Ultimate Edition 30 Day Boost bonus will activate the next time you load the game after your upgrade.
