NVIDIA supports graphics cards from the 10 series (Pascal) or higher on Windows 7 with DirectX 12. If your machine meets the minimum requirements to run Gears 5, we recommend upgrading to Windows 10 to have the best possible experience. 

Playing on Windows 7 with older NVIDIA graphics cards (from the Maxwell, Kepler or Fermi generations) may cause significant issues, including crashes, and are not officially supported by NVIDIA. You may see a warning when booting the game with code GW505 if playing on one of these graphics cards.
